Digestive tract issues require a thorough investigation. In my practice, I provide comprehensive diagnostics and care for various liver and gastrointestinal tract disorders. The range of services extends from the treatment of chronic inflammatory bowel diseases, iron deficiency, and liver cirrhosis to the indication for therapy and monitoring in Hepatitis B and C, as well as cancerous diseases in the gastrointestinal tract.

It is particularly important to me that we have ample time in the practice to discuss all of your symptoms and concerns in detail. The more accurately you describe your symptoms to me, the faster it is possible to establish a correct diagnosis and initiate the appropriate treatment.

Determining the “right” treatment is guided not only by the diagnosis or specific symptoms but also, most importantly, by your individual needs. In a relaxed atmosphere, after a comprehensive medical history discussion and examination, I will clarify all therapy options in an understandable manner. This way, we can collaboratively create a suitable treatment plan afterward.

If an endoscopy (gastroscopy and/or colonoscopy) is necessary for the diagnosis, I can personally perform these examinations under sedation at our practice.

A cornerstone of the practice is interdisciplinary collaboration. If, due to the diagnosis, potential complications, or accompanying conditions, doctors from other medical specialties need to be involved in the diagnostic process or therapy, a prompt referral to trusted colleagues within or outside of the practice is made. The robust interdisciplinary network of our practice ensures comprehensive care for all internal medicine matters.

I had my first preventive examination for gastroenterological and colorectal health with Senior Physician Dr. Ulbrich. The promise to fall asleep before the examination was completely fulfilled, and I woke up feeling relaxed.
