The skin is the largest organ in the human body. It serves as a protective shield for our organism against environmental influences and maintains our internal balance. As a dermatologist, it is my concern to preserve or restore your skin health. I treat both inflammatory skin diseases and tumor diseases such as melanoma or white skin cancer. An important aspect of dermatological oncology is the prevention and early detection of skin tumors.
Through my many years of work in the Psoriasis Outpatient Clinic at the AKH Vienna, the treatment of psoriasis and the use of biologics in the therapy of chronic inflammatory diseases are among my particular areas of focus.
In addition, I specialize in the epiluminescence microscopy examination (dermatoscopy) of skin lesions, dermatosurgery, and photodermatology (skin changes induced by sunlight).
